PROVIDER IDENTIFIER (NPI)?
CMS announced a system whereby all health care providers can apply for this new number. Please
do this right away. This may help us all esp with RX label issues.
We hope this will replace the incorrect use of the DEA # requested by pharmacies (Florida NP's
do not as yet have DEA#) and all other insurance & medical documents!
